Sama Dubai Appoints Chief Director of Operations Farid Saadi Al Rais

Former Assistant Director of the Drainage and Irrigation Department, Dubai Municipality Dubai: 27 October, 2007 - Sama Dubai, the international real estate investment and development arm of Dubai Holding, today announced the appointment of Farid Mohammad Saadi Al Rais, Chief Director of Operations for Sama Contracting. Farid brings with him 21 years of experience in Dubai Municipality and is a Civil Engineer by profession. He has handled various major projects ranging in value from AED 20 - 1500 million. As former Assistant Director of the Drainage and Irrigation Department, Dubai Municipality Farid brings extensive experience in Planning and Budgeting to the Sama Dubai Team. Farhan Faraidooni, Executive Chairman, Sama Dubai said: "We are very pleased that Farid Mohammad Saadi Al Rais has joined Sama Dubai. He has an excellent background in operations and is very experienced with large scale projects. "Farid's key role will be as Sama Dubai's representative within the executive management team of Sama Contracting where he will help lead the continued development of the Company. Farid has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic of Wales (University of Glamorgan) Wales, United Kingdom. He is a member of the UAE Engineering Society, the UAE Heritage Society and is also on the Service Coordination Committee (Emirate of Dubai).
